Gallery

Dr. Hristova’s Gallery will for sure boost your optimism. Here you can observe various dentistry cases, all of them with a happy ending.

1. Clinical case

Before: Old mental-ceramic crowns. The grayish, cold tint of metal-ceramic constructions is clearly displayed giving teeth an unnatural look and spoiling dental esthetics. The gums are swollen and purple resulting from the incorrect metal-ceramic crowns. The patient complained of strong gum bleeding, metal taste in the mouth and discomfort.

After: The old crowns have been replaced with zirconium ones; tooth esthetics is flawless, as well as gum health. We tried to correct the shape of front teeth that suits better the face, smile and expression of the patient.

2. Clinical case

Before: Front teeth with many discolored and outdated fillings. Jointly with the patient we decided to apply veneers on the four central teeth and to carry out esthetic restorations of the canine teeth to complete the new smile design.

After:  Improved smile design with veneers. The rejuvenating of the lower third of the face is easy to see.

3. Clinical case

Before: Old, discolored fillings on two front teeth.

After: Restoration with composite (bonding) of the same teeth.

4. Clinical case: veneers of the two central incisors

Before: The large composite fillings are clearly seen, taking a large area from the two central teeth. The left central incisor sticks out which was non-esthetic and not very feminine. Due to loss of brilliance and discoloring of fillings, we decided to attach veneers to the two teeth.

After: The perfect white esthetics (of teeth) is quite obvious, as well as the red esthetics (of the gums). The patient also had her teeth bleached with Opalenscence – one course of office bleaching and one course of home bleaching. The photographs have not been retouched.

The diffident smile before, and the charming and sexy one after. The “before” photo clearly shows how the position and the shape of incisors versus lips and nose deprive the face from femininity. “After” photo: the new shape of incisors suits the patient much better. The shape was developed on a wax-up design in a lab and was tried with the help of temporary veneers. The teeth have not been retouched.

Veneers on two teeth plus bleaching – enough to transform a smile. Can you tell the difference?

5. A grave case of discolored and ruined front teeth of 30-year-old woman

Pure ceramic constructions have been applied to the patient instead of metal ceramics because pure ceramics is more esthetic. The teeth have not been retouched.

The previous case looked frontally. Teeth have been whitened with Opalescence: one course of office bleaching and one course of home bleaching, because the patient is a smoker. You can see the perfect look of the front upper teeth – three crowns and one veneer of metal-free porcelain. The teeth have not been retouched.

The treatment aimed to change the shape of these teeth (square, flat).

After designing we found out that their convex shape will suite the patient’s face better. The teeth have not been retouched.

6. Clinical case

Before: Crooked frontal teeth of a young, 30-year-old patient. Her wish was to improve the look of front teeth.

After orthodontic treatment with brackets. Improved smile design and improved dental esthetics.

The patient will undergo procedures for the correction of her gummy smile perceived as unaesthetic.

7. Clinical case: bonding of two the frontal teeth – animation

The 20-year-old patient did not like her central front teeth and especially the space between them that she found irritating and non-esthetic. Following a series of consultations and lab-developed wax-up designs, jointly with her we chose a shape and length that would best suit her face and expression. After bleaching we opted for direct bonding of teeth (with light-cured resin). The teeth have not been retouched.

8. Clinical case

Before: Old, discolored fillings with bad chewing surfaces

During: The restorations after they have been placed in the mouth.

The exclusive in this case is that restorations were not made in a denture lab, but in the dentist’s office – a complete author’s job. Their detailed anatomy (reminding of nature-done sculpturing on natural teeth), as well as the polish and brilliance can be achieved only on a design outside the mouth.

After: No matter that the case involved back teeth, the patient’s chewing comfort is complete.

9. Clinical case

Before: Cavity on the 6th tooth of a young patient.

After: Filling of “restoration” quality with recreation of the anatomical surface of the tooth. Unlike the fillings with even surface and without lay, this restoration guarantees correct chewing contact with the opposite teeth which is very important.
